LeMieux Vector Balance Stirrup
New innovation from Le Mieux, the next generation of safety stirrup!!These stirrups from le Mieux are lightweight, use advance engineering, whilst retaining a classic style for the best of every world.
Sure to be durable, these stirrups are made from aviation-grade aluminium, ensuring that a maximum strength to weight ratio is achieved, they only weigh an astounding 372g each!! The innovation continues onto the ergonomic footplate, with a 5-degree angle and cross-track surface to ensure optimal grip, the vector stirrups from Le Mieux have an impact absorbing cushion layer made from a polymer with a whopping 70% per cent compression rating!! This means when jumping at the point of landing it significantly reduces the impact and vibrations felt by the riders knee and ankle, helping to reduce fatigue and stress on leg muscles. The embedded steel pins help reinforce the feeling of security in the Le Mieux Vector Balance Stirrups.
The Vector Balance Stirrup from Le Mieux also features an engineered twin balance system meaning that pressure is distributed over the frame of the stirrup. The top of the frame is offset as well as recessed so the stirrup is designed to have a 45 outward orientation for easy regain of lost stirrups when in the saddle.
The biggest feature of the vector stirrup is the safety arm with its two-stage release system which prevents accidental opening, The sprung safety arm is secured into the base of the mainframe which means that in high-pressure situations, such as landing over a jump, the weight is distributed over the stirrup, preventing and dropping or flex, however, if pressure is applied to the outside arm of the stirrup, such as when the rider falls, the arm releases, freeing the foot from the stirrup.
