Who Created Ariat?

Ariat was the brainchild of Beth Cross and Pam Parker, they were classmates who decided to set up Ariat Inc in 1993 while working as consultants. Beth is still very much involved in all aspects of Ariat being the CEO, however she sold the majority of the company to the fisher family in 2012.

Where did the Name Ariat Come From?

Ariat was named after Sectariat, the famous Kentucy Derby triple crown wining racehorse, Beth states that they were inspired by Sectariat's spirit, determination and stamina and felt that the racehorse exemplified everything they wanted Ariat to be as a company.
