Historically LeMieux was very undersized as a garment, however anything from 2023 onwards tends to be very well sized with the majority of people finding they are the size they would expect.

LeMieux is a UK company, based out of Romsey near Southhampton, their products are all designed and specified in the UK and are manufactured through a range of factories all over the world, although the majority of products are manufatured in the far-east.

Most LeMieux halters are not breakaway at the moment, however the Essential Yard Headcollar is breakaway compliant by the means of a small leather tab

LeMieux actuallly is the founders of the brand, Robert and Lisa's last name, fortuantely for them LeMieux translates from French into "the best" or sometimes meaning better, quite a fortunate last name!

LeMieux is still majority owned by its founders Robert & Lisa LeMieux, although in 2020 LDC came in as a minority stakeholder, Robert and Lisa are still very much involved in all aspects of LeMieux.
